Kids Ministry is often referred to as the most dynamic and rewarding, yet physically and spiritually draining ministry in the majority of churches.
Week in and week out, our teams deal with everything from ‘miss my mummy tears’ to deep theological questions such as ‘what does heaven look like, where is it and describe it to me in the next 30 seconds.’
Our volunteers give everything to the kids, often missing out connecting with friends and family in main church services. Sacrificing going to events, special programs like mothers day and evenings just to serve our kids.
They see the value in kids ministry, hear the call upon their lives and follow the path God has laid before them. This very path is often laced with glitter, pva glue and sequins but it is God’s path within Kids Ministry and each volunteer is so very faithful each time they serve.
Many of our volunteers arrive early and leave late on Sundays just to ensure the kids have amazing God experiences.
My heart is that they have a time in July of refreshing, blessing and encouragement. A month where they can recharge through attending the church services, spending time with their own friends and families and being fed with the amazing teaching others get each week within CFC.
We are making preparations that will hopefully help limit the impact on your own church experience within July, but also and most importantly ensuring that teaching is still available to the kids who attending CFC with their parents.
