It is with sadness that we advise that both Sharon Yarr and Heather McDade (Kernohan) passed away at the weekend.  Sharon and Heather were founding members of the church and were known to many who attend today.

Sharon was married to Peter Yarr, who was the first leader of CFC. They had recently been attending church in Holywood but were regular visitors to CFC over the years.  The service of thanksgiving will be held for Sharon at St Philip and St James Parish Church, Holywood at 2pm on Saturday 23rd March.   Please pray for Peter and his sons Stephen, Jonathan, Michael and their families and their foster daughters Rachel & Eve.   Also pray for brother & sister in law,  Clive and Fiona Newell.

Heather, sister of Ruth Thom, went to Holywood Fellowship in the 1970’s and remained a member of CFC until her marriage to Ed, a Methodist minister in 1998.  On their retirement they returned to Belfast and Heather enjoyed renewing old friendships when she attended the Women’s bible study last year. The service of thanksgiving will be held on Monday 25th March at 2.30pm in Sydenham Methodist Church.  Please pray for Ed and the family circle.
