Young adults is a community of people from across all six sites of CFC.
Our hope for our young adults is that they will experience a Christ centred community dedicated to impacting Belfast, Ireland and the nations with the love of God in the power of the Holy Spirit.
As we seek to recognise and empower this generation, our aim is to safely and effectively integrate our young adults into church life across all six sites.
To do this, we have created intentional spaces that our young adults community can walk alongside each other and discover their place in our wider church community. We do this in three ways:
Seven is a weekly intergenerational space for all six sites to gather, facilitated by a young adults team. We gather to worship, to grow, to pray and build relationships. We meet in the auditorium at CFC East at 7pm on Sunday evenings. After the service there is time to chat and hang out over tea and coffee.
Our YA Gatherings are an intentional space specifically for our young adults to come together monthly across all six of our sites to worship, pray and grow together as a community. Click here to sign up to attend.
We want to encourage our young adults to identify people who are ahead of them and coming after them in their walk with Jesus. We recognise the value of an intergenerational community. We can learn from each other and in turn support each other as we grow in Christ. Meeting in 2's and 3's provides a regular space for us to share life and connect on a deeper basis. As we do this we connect our story with God's story and crowd becomes a community.
This is our site-wide YA Team. Scot McLean, Clara McLean, Eden McRoberts, Rebecca McCullough, Katie Montgomery, Ashleigh Beattie, John Catterson, Ryan Karayiannis, Beth Herron, James Balmer and Courtney Lowry (not in picture).
If you see them at any of our services or gatherings they'd be happy to chat and connect you in to life at CFC.
