From Monday 10th until Sunday 16th August, we are running a virtual week of prayer, with a particular focus on praying for specific sectors of society as there has been such a wide ranging impact from the pandemic and there are many challenges ahead as we move out of lockdown e.g. education, healthcare, business, government, voluntary/charity sector, family and arts and culture. When you sign up to pray, you will be provided with some prayer points which have been gathered from people working in each of these sectors to help guide your prayers.
We'd love you sign up for an hour, either as individuals, a family, a group of friends or a Connect Group. (In signing up you are committing to praying for that hour but if you are praying as a group from your own homes, you will need to organise another way to join together online from your individual houses e.g. Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp). If you are gathering together in person please follow current Government guidelines.
During this week of prayer, we are holding prayer walks to pray around some of our local areas (each evening at 7pm in CFC East and Monday 10 at 7pm in CFC South).. With each step we take, we can walk the victory of Jesus into our neighbourhoods, engage our senses to pray as God specifically leads us to, shift atmospheres and release hope, peace and blessing. For more details and to book (to allow us to plan groups) please click below.
During this season you can also pre-book a prayer appointment to take place over Zoom with two members of our trained team. If you click this link, you will be contacted by one of our prayer team to arrange the appointment.
During our online services on Sunday you can privately chat to and pray with a member of our Pastoral and Prayer Teams via our online chat forum. This is available every Sunday between 10am and 11.30am.
Every week we send a prayer request email to our members asking them to pray for specific needs in our community. If you wish for your prayer request to be added to our weekly email then please let us know via the link below.
Sozo is an inner healing and freedom ministry aimed to get to the root of issues and to increase your connection with God. We are currently running online appointments through Zoom.
Prayer Clinic provides an opportunity to receive in-depth prayer for any type of healing – physical, emotional and spiritual. Starting with a time of worship, we then break into small groups for individual prayer. Those who come for prayer can be assured of a safe and confidential environment and that all team members are trained and accountable to CFC Ministry Leadership. It is open to everyone. No appointment is necessary but it operates on a first come first served basis. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 8pm in the Ark Room in CFC East.
We run a number of different prayer meetings throughout the year where we come together corporately to pray, worship and seek God for breakthrough. These meetings are open to anyone and are often at various times of the day. Keep an eye on our church calendar for upcoming events.
