Kids Worker

As a church, we highly value our children and are committed helping to help them find and follow Jesus across our sites. To fulfil this goal, we want to recruit a Kids’ Worker for CFC East and South.

This is a front facing role that will work in conjunction with existing teams to create programs and events that influence the spiritual, emotional, and social development of children.

Recruitment will go live on Friday 28 April 2023 on our website. Click here for more information and an Application Pack.

The closing date is Wednesday 17 May 2023.

Please pray for wisdom and guidance and we seek God for the right person for this role.

Exodus

This Sunday we will begin an 8 week series looking at the book of Exodus. We really want to go deep together into this important book. There are a number of ways that you can join in with this. There are reading plans in the form of a bookmark available at the welcome desk which began on Monday 17 April (still time to catch up).

There are devotionals that have been written by people across all of our CFC Sites available here.

And finally there are video resources available here and YouTube which explore more about the themes that can't be covered on a Sunday.

Our heart is that our Church family engages with Exodus and journeys to freedom together.

Cross Community Conversation with John Kyle

On Sunday 30th April we will be opening our café in CFC East to meet to meet with Gavin Robinson from the DUP. Thoughtful dialogue has become uncommon in recent years but is essential for reconciliation and political progress.

We believe this will help us better understand the city in which we live and our calling to be salt and light in all the facets of society that we engage with.

Daughters

On Thursday 11th May, we are gathering for our Daughters event. These are always great nights of fun and fellowship and we can't wait for this one.

We will worship together, create some space for you to hear the stories of some wonderful women from our community and enjoy some summer treats together.

This gathering is for ALL women, from ALL our sites. It really won't be the same without you so please plan to be there.  Bring a friend with you or make a friend there! Doors open at 7.30, CFC East for yummy treats. Click here to sign up

WTC Hub Open Evening

On the 16th May, WTC Theology is hosting a Hub Open Evening at Lagan Valley Vineyard for you to experience what it could look like to study theology part-time at your local WTC Hub. Whether you know you want to study theology, you're interested in finding out more, or you simply want to grow in confidence in understanding the Bible and experience a lecture, you would be so welcome to join us.

The evening will include worship, a live online lecture from a member of WTC's teaching faculty, Q&A, and Hannah Toal will be sharing the heart behind WTC and what it would look like to study part-time.

NUA

On 23rd of June our church family are heading to Newcastle for the NUA Festival to gather with other like-minded churches for a weekend of worship & prayer, seeking God’s heart for the island of Ireland and declaring His sovereignty over the nation.

Why not plan to come to what promises to be a great weekend.  There’s lots more information on our website – click here
