If you are visiting with us on a Sunday, here are some things you might find helpful!

When are your services?

Our services in our East Belfast site are at 10am, 12pm and 7pm. At our East Belfast site there are two service choices- our main auditorium has lively worship music led by a band followed by an inspiring talk. There is also an opportunity at the end to receive some prayer for those who would like this. We also run Cafe Church which has a relaxed cafe feel where you can sit round tables grab a bun and a cuppa (for free) and enjoy some acoustic music and watch a live video link-up of the talk from our main auditorium. On the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month there is sign language interpretation at the 10am service in the main auditorium.

Where is CFC East?

CFC East is situated in Strandtown in Belfast, where the Belmont Road meets the Holywood road. There are entrances to our main auditorium from both roads. Entry to Cafe Church is from the Belmont Road.

How do I get there?

There are bus routes out of Belfast (3A & 27) that stop outside CFC as well as the Sydenham Train Station which is a 10 minute walk from CFC. We are only 1 mile from the George Best Airport. [/toggle] [toggle title="Is there parking?"] There is no allotted parking at CFC, parking is on nearby streets. There is a small public carpark off Dundela Crescent. There is an urban clearway on the Holywood Road and spaces on the Belmont Road (although during weekdays they have a limited time duration). Please be sensitive to our neighbours when parking.

What door do I go in?

There are entrances to our main auditorium from both the Holywood and Belmont roads. Entry to Cafe Church is from the Belmont Road. There are steps at the Holywood Road entrance, however there is a lift at the Belmont Road entrance.

Is there wheelchair access?

The Belmont Road entrance has a lift and is wheelchair accessible to all floors.

Is there sign language support?

At the 10am service in our main auditorium on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month, the service is interpreted. Our Sign Language Community (SLC) usually sit at the front left hand side of the auditorium. On the 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month, SLC hold their own service at The YMCA in Stranmillis at 11am. Find out more on their website (coming soon)

What is the service like?

The Sunday service is made up of lively worship led by a band and a inspiring and encouraging talk. There is opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service and a chance to meet new people and grab a cuppa.

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code but most people dress casually.

What about my kids?

Your kids are welcome in CFC. We have Children's programs for kids all the way from birth through to P6 (10 years old). For those kids a little older (P7-3rd Form) we have our Youth Church in Eden - this is 50m up the Belmont Road next to Baker Street Cafe. You can drop your kids in before the service begins and collect them after it finishes. The kids will be cared for, encouraged and receive bible teaching and have lots of fun. Ask one of our volunteers in blue t-shirts which room your kids go to when you arrive. You are welcome to keep your children in the service with you but ask you to be mindful that they do not disrupt others.
