This is a chance to spend time together weekly praying for our church congregation, leadership and spending time interceding on behalf of our church family, praying specifically into the requests for prayer from members of our church. This happens in CFC on Fridays at 1pm, enter using the Belmont Road entrance – we will be in either Seminar room 1 or 3.This is open to anyone who is interested and available.
For many years people from CFC have gathered regularly to pray for those undergoing persecution for their faith. Materials supplied by the likes of Open Doors, Release International and Frontiers Ireland give a real insight into the lives of ordinary Christians and the challenges they face in some extreme situations in being or planting a church.Meeting on the third Thursday of the month, at 7.30pm – 9.30pm in the Prayer House, we start with a time of worship, discuss a few prayer points then pray together as the spirit leads. Mostly we leave encouraged, with a sense that something has shifted in the heavenlies. Everyone is welcome.
Christians Again Poverty (CAP) is a charity that is passionate about freeing people from the miserable grip of poverty in the UK.We have a monthly dedicated time set aside to pray for the work of CAP on the first Thursday of each month in CFC’s Prayer House – 181 Holywood Road at 7.30-9pm. We pray for clients anonymously, maintaining confidentiality. This is an opportunity to pray for God to work in the lives of many broken people and to give thanks for those who have experienced freedom already. We’d love you to come along and join us!
We believe that there is amazing power in the praying parent. Once a month, parents gather together to pray for their children, youth leaders and the youth ministry at CFC and to hear some incredible stories of breakthrough from parents who have prayed for their children, to encourage you in your parenting journey. We would love you to join us.Meeting in Eden from 7.30-9pm.
