Exodus 35

One comment on “Exodus 35”

  1. “… eager to help in the work the Lord had given them…they brought their gifts and gave them freely to the Lord.” Their gifts were precious things they owned that could be used in the Meeting Tent, or things they made with skill, working with fabric or wood. Giving is a spiritual gift that we can all share in: time, expertise and material wealth freely given with glad and willing hearts. If we aren’t willing or begrudge the giving, is it even a gift at all?

Whatever is in our hearts will find expression in our actions. The Spirit of God living in us is generous beyond measure, and out of love and devotion to him we will find ourselves being generous too. We can never outgive God.
