Welcome to this week's edition of CFC News! Our in-person services begin this weekend. We can't wait to meet together both in person and online! We had an incredible response when we released our tickets last Monday for this Sunday's service.
Tickets will be released for 27th September on Monday 21st September at 12pm and close on Friday 25th September at 4pm. Click here on Monday to book your seat!
If you have booked into our services in our East site, please click here to watch the video below from our Senior Pastor, Owen Crane, so you know what to expect. Guidance for attending all other sites can be found by clicking here.
The service will continue to be streamed online at 10am for those who cannot attend our sites. Below are details of what's on and what's coming up in the life of CFC.
Moving forward into our new season, we have created a beautiful journal to accompany each week's teaching. The journal contains resources and additional material to allow us to go deeper into the Word of God. They are free of charge and are available to everyone attending both physical and online services. Journals can be collected at each of our sites if you are attending an in-person service. For those attending online, you can collect your journals from CFC East during office hours. They will also be available for collection from The Book Well on Belmont Road. A PDF version is available for download here for those that are unable to collect a physical copy.
Our Daughter’s Team are hosting the Story Maker Virtual Women’s Conference on Saturday 10th October, 2:00pm-9:30pm.
Speakers include - Lysa Terkeurst, Annie F. Downs, Rita Springer and our own Jill Boyd. For more information and to book your ticket to watch in church - click here and select CFC Belfast as your location.
Foodbanks continue to be a vital resource to those living on the margins in our community. This week we are launching Saucy September!!! Supermarket shelves are packed with jars of korma, jalfrezi, passata, tomato ketchup, pesto, HP sauces – pop a few of these items into your trolley and bring them to the church offices at 10 Belmont Road anytime 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. You can also donate financially directly to The Larder Foodbank by clicking here! Thanks for your help!
We’ve been asked by Home Plus, an organisation working with the homeless, asylum seekers and refugees, to see if anyone from CFC would be interested in driving their caddy sized vehicle to collect a donation of food from Asda on the Falls Road and bring it to their headquarters in University Street. They need someone for each day Monday to Friday (you can do one day or as many as suits). You must have a clean driving license. There can be up to 14 crates so a reasonable level of fitness is required. For more information please click here to email Garath.
