Many of you have been asking if you can donate your £100 voucher to a charity. While it can’t be given directly, you can use it to buy items and donate these to the charity eg the Larder Foodbank are currently short of:
Coffee, biscuits, dilutable juice, tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned veg, tinned custard/ rice and toilet rolls.
You can bring these to church offices 9am-5pm Monday to Friday or on a Sunday. There are lots of other amazing groups out there, feel free to check in with a charity you know asking them what they need and go buy it for them.
The Pre-Marriage Course runs over a Friday evening and Saturday 9.30am to 4pm. It is designed for couples considering marriage, whether engaged or not, and wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship. While based on Christian principles, it is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.
Looking at topics such as communication, managing finances, and conflict, the next course will run on 19 and 20 November 2021.
The course is mandatory for couples who are getting married in CFC or by someone from CFC.
