Church News, Weekly email 01/01/21

January 1, 2021

Whatever this year brought you, we pray that God will redeem all of it for your good and for His glory. We pray that the beauty of this year will infuse hope in your spirit and expectation in your heart. We pray the pain and heartache of this year will be met with deep and rich comfort. We pray you will find the strength to grieve what needs to be grieved and to celebrate what needs to be celebrated. We pray you will have the space to mourn your losses and acknowledge your successes. We pray most of all you will know His healing presence close beside you, His guiding voice ahead of you and His protective hand behind you. You are so loved, we pray you will know that on a deeper level in 2021.

In the Bible we see many examples of mountains being places where people meet with God, cry out to Him in prayer and worship Him. In the midst of the continuing pandemic, there is a call to prayer. We want to intentionally take time to spend with God, to pray and fast and to worship. Each day we’ll focus on praying for a particular topic. We will have a morning devotion on social media and YouTube, worship on social media at lunchtime, a Zoom prayer meeting each evening at 7.30pm and a virtual 24-7 prayer room open all week. We’d love you to get involved and us all to join together in prayer as a family.
