We will be celebrating communion together this Sunday across all our sites.
We won't be live-streaming our Sunday service this week. We'd love you to join us in person, but if you're unable to do so we'll publish the podcast of the service on Sunday afternoon so you can listen to the teaching.
We will be holding our Annual CFC Finance Meeting on 6th October. We will present the accounts for the year ended 2021. Our accounts tell a story of God’s faithfulness and the incredible generosity of His people. We will be looking at some of the detail behind the figures and answering any questions. Click here to sign up to attend.
Following on from our week of Prayer and Fasting, with the continuing global instability all around us, we believe it is more important than ever for us as a church family to keep praying. To facilitate this, we are starting a monthly in-person prayer meeting on the second Monday of every month at 7:30pm in the CFC Cafe. The first meeting will be on the 10th October, and we would love you to join us. The Bible tells us that the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective. Your prayers can make a difference, please join us!
Prayer Clinic provides an opportunity to receive in-depth prayer for any type of healing – physical, emotional and spiritual. Starting with a time of worship, we then break into small groups for individual prayer. Click here to sign up!
The Pre-Marriage Course runs over a Friday evening and Saturday 9.30am to 4pm and is designed for couples considering marriage, whether engaged or not, and wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship.
While based on Christian principles, it is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background. Looking at topics such as communication, finances and conflict, the next course will run on 14th and 15th October 2022 in CFC East.
The course is mandatory for couples who are getting married in CFC or by someone from CFC. Please click here to register yourself and your partner.
If you're a young adult in any of our sites at CFC, click here to see information on how to get connected and sign up for the weekly email from our Connect and Young Adults Pastor, Ryan Karayiannis.
Our first YA Gathering of the new term will be on 3rd October. If you're a young adult from any of our sites you are so welcome to attend! Click here to sign up!
As prices in the shops soar and electric and gas prices increase, we recognise that many people are struggling to make ends meet. In CFC, we have a fund set up to help with everything from an electric top up to school uniforms, from a weekly shop to an MOT test. We can also help with furniture or clothes and referrals to the food banks. If you or anyone you know is struggling (in CFC or not) support is available. You can find out more information by talking to one of our Site Pastors or pastoral team, on the Compassion page of our website or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
ChurchSuite is the method we use to communicate with those who call CFC their home. By signing up to ChurchSuite you are able to receive emails from your Site Pastor, sign up for events, manage your rota for teams you serve on, and lots more. If you consider CFC your home, click here to add your details.
