Baptism
In CFC we believe in baptism by full immersion and we plan to hold a sea baptism service on Sunday 12th June at Crawfordsburn Country Park beach at 4pm. Click here for more information and to sign up. Please put the date in your diary and plan to come along and support those being baptised!

CFC Daughters
We can't wait for our first Daughters gathering of the year on 8th June! Four of our lovely CFC women, from across our sites will be sharing with us how their lives have been interrupted recently and how God has gotten them to where they are today. We will worship together, enjoy a sweet treat and of course have some fun and laughter together too. This event is for ALL women of ALL ages, across ALL our CFC sites, as well as any friends and family you would like to bring with you. Click here to register!

MOPS
We have a fantastic group of mums we get to serve, and our heart is to give them a break and meet other mums while we look after their little ones. We have roles available on our Steering Team for 2022-2023. The team help organise and facilitate the MOPS curriculum for the year. If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, click here. We're also looking for a MOPS Coordinator. The Coordinator sets the tone for the group by preparing other leaders, planning meetings and welcoming mums. They keep the team focused on the goal of introducing every woman to Jesus or, for the mums who already know him, moving them into a deeper relationship wit him. Joint Church Service For Pentecost
CFC East is part of the Belmont and District Council of Churches - a group of churches in BT4 and BT5 working together to see people’s lives changed through the gospel. The churches have joint services three times a year for Pentecost, Advent and Christian Unity service. The next service is on Sunday 5 June at 7pm in Knocknagoney Presbyterian Church celebrating Pentecost. Everyone is welcome and it's a great way to meet others who want to bring God’s kingdom to this area.

Missions Partners – Earth Mission Asia (EMA)
Earth Mission Asia (EMA) are one of CFC’s key overseas missions partners; their aim is to provide quality healthcare to the poorest communities in rural Myanmar. We are delighted to have Mitch and Caryl Ryan, who head up the project, with us over the next few weeks and they will be speaking in Cafe Church, Holywood and Antrim this Sunday. At 7.30pm this Sunday 29th we will have an information night in the Cafe in CFC East for anyone who would like more information on how to get involved with EMA. For more information email missions@thisiscfc.com

Pamper Day
Over the past few years we have held a 'pamper event' for those in need in our community. These have been greatly appreciated by all involved in the past. If you are interested in being a part of ministering to women in this way on Saturday 11 June from 1.30pm to 4pm please click here to sign up and we will be in touch.

Soul Food - Practically demonstrating God’s Love
The cost-of-living rise has had an impact on all of us, but a massive impact on families who were already struggling to make ends meet. With food and energy prices rising significantly, a visit to the shops can be quite stressful. We all know that a decent meal can go a long way to make things seem a bit brighter.  A unique opportunity to demonstrate God’s compassion in a very practical way is through our “Soul Food” ministry.
In essence, people cook meals such as curry, lasagne, fish pie, stews, chilli etc that can be frozen. It gets brought to CFC East and kept in a freezer to be given to individuals or families who need a bit of help and some of the pressure lifted off them with a good quality, home cooked meal. We keep a supply of carryout containers in CFC East along with some labels asking you to detail what’s inside – these can be collected before you cook. Our supplies are currently low, and the need is high and we would appreciate your help replenishing the freezer – even one extra portion will make a difference. You can drop your food off to the offices at CFC East 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. For more information email garath.baxter@thisiscfc.com
