CFC Job Vacancies As a church we highly value our children and young people and are committed helping to help the find and follow Jesus across our sites. To fulfil this goal, we want to recruit a Kids and Youth Pastor (Female) to work as part of the team in these departments. Click here for more information and an Application Pack. Closing date is 29 September 2022. Please pray for wisdom and guidance and we seek God for the right person for this role. |
Finance Meeting We will be holding our Annual CFC Finance Meeting on 6th October. We will present the accounts for the year ended 2021. Our accounts tell a story of God’s faithfulness and the incredible generosity of His people. We will be looking at some of the detail behind the figures and answering any questions. More details for how CFC members can register will follow, but for now, please put the date in your diary. |

Looking at topics such as communication, finances and conflict, the next course will run on 14th and 15th October 2022 in CFC East. The course is mandatory for couples who are getting married in CFC or by someone from CFC. Please click here to register yourself and your partner. |
SOLO Solo is an amazing ministry run in CFC that reaches out to single parents and their children. Every other week the parents come and have dinner made for them, whilst their kids are looked after and fed. We need two or three people to help look after the children on alternate Tuesdays from 5.45pm-7.30pm. It would involve setting up the room for the children, playing with them and serving them dinner. The children we currently have are aged from 3-9 years old.If you have a heart for these kids and their mums, and could commit to being there, we would love to hear from you! Please click here to email Arlene. |
23,000 Sandwiches!!!!!! Two years ago a group of CFC’ers started to make sandwiches for people who find themselves living on the streets and destitute. Since then, they have made over 23,000 sandwiches – many of the ingredients are bought using the CFC Compassion Fund. How fantastic is it to know that you have fed 23,000 people, giving them something substantial when they are most in need. If you’d like to get involved in this team, please click here to email us. |
Support Available As prices in the shops soar and electric and gas prices increase, we recognise that many people are struggling to make ends meet. In CFC, we have a fund set up to help with everything from an electric top up to school uniforms, from a weekly shop to an MOT test. We can also help with furniture or clothes and referrals to the food banks. If you or anyone you know is struggling (in CFC or not) support is available. You can find out more information by talking to one of our Site Pastors or pastoral team, on the Compassion page of our website or email missions@thisiscfc.com. |
ChurchSuite ChurchSuite is the method we use to communicate with those who call CFC their home. By signing up to ChurchSuite you are able to receive emails from your Site Pastor, sign up for events, manage your rota for teams you serve on, and lots more.
