From the earliest days of Christ’s personal ministry on earth, people and governments have sought to undermine and suppress the message of the Gospel. Persecuting believers and Christian communities is nothing new to the Body of Christ.
Today, in the countries of Asia, growing numbers of people are becoming more responsive to the message of the Gospel and coming to know Christ. As a result, many face persecution not only from state authorities, but their own families and neighbours too.
As a church, we have dedicated ourselves to impacting Belfast, Ireland and the nations with the love of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. One of the ways we are reaching the nations is partnering Ethnos Asia in its work in the access-restricted nations of Asia (ARNA).
In helping Ethnos Asia serve and strengthen the Body of Christ in ARNA, CFC teams have taken part in the organisation’s many teaching programmes, delivered Bibles and Christian resources or went to pray with and encourage their brothers and sisters in Christ, many of whom have faced death and been imprisoned for their faith.
Each spring in Bangkok there is an opportunity to attend Ethnos Asia’s Mission Conference were you have an opportunity to hear and respond to the voice and needs of persecuted Christians, find out how God is moving in their country and go and see for yourself. Those who do return changed.
